What do I get out of volunteering?
Contribute to a meaningful experience centered on queer justice, action, and joy.
Make connections. Give and receive the spirit of radical welcome. Many volunteers say the best part of volunteering is the sense of community we create together.
Develop skills. As volunteers, we develop our leadership skills by working as a team, solving problems together, and participating in training sessions. A volunteer participation certificate is awarded by DC OUT TELL OF AR to those who complete 5 days of volunteering at the booth.
